Best Looks of 2015

So the New Year is literally staring us in the face. Time to focus on your resolutions and some old ones you haven't quite changed. That's the beauty of the new year, you can start over, you get a clean slate, all is left behind well unless you fucked up your credit really bad or got pregnant by your side nigga, at any rate it's time to start fresh so embrace it! I'm sitting here mapping out my wardrobe for the first quarter and I'm scowling my favorite sites for inspo and ran across a few of my favs from the year. This was a refreshing year for fashion and I personally think my favorite looks highlight that burst of refreshment we needed from the per ushe neutral monochromatic Kim K steeze (no shade). So take a look below at my very narrowed (and in no specific order) favorite style moments of the 2015. Happy New Year!!!!

Solange- Art Basel 2015

Solange, Slayonge whatever you want to call her she KILLS EVERYTIME. I was perusing Snapchat one night and I see her in the elevator with her good friend Shiona Turini as they are on their way to a club during Art Basel and I'm like wait, is that Solange in a cutout?! Then I see a full length pic and nearly passed out because it's a jumpsuit! She slightly altered the Et Ochs Spring 16' number but not to far away from the original design. The color alone had me weak.

Beyonce- Met Gala 2015

Next up is of course Bey. When I first saw this look I couldn't get over the ponytail, only Bey could pull off the stripper pony at the Met Gala lol, which by the way she had her hair stylist do in the elevator on the way to the gala because she wasn't satisfied her original hairstyle. Anywho the custom Givenchy gown was sheer perfection (all pun intended) and a fit Bey like a glove not to mention she looked super young!

Zendaya- CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Welcome Cocktail

I first noticed Zendaya last year in some fashion week photos and thought to myself who is this young girl giving Rihanna style appeal but with humbleness of Bey (quite a mixture right)? And ever since then she's always on point. This Tanya Taylor dress immediately caught my attention. The stripes and assymetrical cut give it an edge that complimented her well. Rihanna better watch her heels, as far as fashion Zendaya may coming for that spot.

Shiona Turini- Paris Fashion Week

So if you know who Shiona Turini is you're pretty hip to her love of crop tops and all things luxurious. This Alessandra Rich cut out jumpsuit brought both of her favorite things in clothing together. Seeing this jumpsuit I thought of a couple of ways I would wear it but I loved the way she styled it. The cut of the jumpsuit just looks powerful, but then she throughs on a red mock neck turtle neck, classic.

Tracey Ellis Ross- Late Night with Seth Myers

The green jumpsuit. Whenever I say that to myself I think of this lime green Escada jumpsuit Tracey Ellis Ross wore on the Late Night show w/ Seth Myers. I couldn't get over this color when I saw it, then for it to be on a jumpsuit?! I nearly went into cardiac arrest! The Ruffles, the wide legs, her hair, just perfection, pure perfection.

Paris- 23rd Sense Launch Party

Ms. Paris B. Of course you guys are familiar with Paris since we've featured her on the blog already but I had to include her on this list because, well you see the picture. Paris was attending our Launch Party for the site and did she come through. I don't even think I said hello before asking her all the details about her look. This pic doesn't show it well but her shoes were a brown and army green camo print complimented by PONY HAIR, I can't deal with her! Love you Paris!

Neish- 23rd Sense Launch Party

And last but never least is Neish! The founder of 23rd Sense and my best friend. Now don't say "oh she just added her on the list because they're friends" because that isn't the case. I genuinely LOVED this look on her. I mean her dress had a train on it that just flowed with grace, how could I not love it? The dress fit her perfectly, the shoes were perfect, and her hair was laid and giving you Diana Ross circa 1974. Hands down one of the top looks for the year. Love you Neish!
