DIY Frayed Denim
There are few things in life that excite me more thandistressed denim.
Well… wait. That mightbe a lie.
Lots of things excite me. Everything excites me. I’m actually the person who's constantly told that I’m too excited, too dramatic, too guilty of loving the heck out of too many things. Basically, I’m too extra of everything. AND I LOVE IT.
My life is a constant stream of exclamation points, sometimes question marks, but mostly "!!!!!"
My old English teachers are crying inside.
Sorry, not sorry.
Let’s talk about frayed-DENIM! I've been obsessing over destroyed denim since I've laid my eyes on 3x1's light vintage blue finish signature selvage detailed denim with a 4' fray that grazes the ankle, OMG. I knew they were a do-it-yourself must. You can basically wear these everyday for your ENTIRE LIFE. The vintage denim feels times a little modern twist! Opposites definitely attract in this match made in heaven...
So like I said I had to try my hand at these! Besides it being apart of my whole impatient-millennial-I-need-to-be-saving-and-not-spending-anyway thing I have going. I did my googles and landed on my fave DIY site and they break down step-by-step how to do it. I'll post showing you how I styled my new denim babe jeans on our instagram page so go check it out!
What you'll need:
- a pair of jeans (Any denim fit or wash will work for this project.)
- seam ripper
- a pair of fabric shears
happy fraying! ♡
