Top Places to Go for Cuffin’ Season

‘Tis the season to start cuffing! Cuffin’ Season aka fall is amongst us. Meaning, our edge control will actually start working, our makeup will stay in-tact, no more under boob (thigh and butt crack) sweat, etc. It’s time to start narrowing down your top 5 suitors from the summer and find a nice person (or two…or three) to spend your time with. I’m providing you with my top 5 places to go to have your Cuffin’ Season intervi….dates!

The Bun Shop

This is for my café goers. The Bun Shop is a cute and quiet café full people playing chess, catching up on some work or reading….which means everyone is going too busy minding their own business to notice that you’ve brought 3 different people there in a week. This little quaint spot is good for first dates; it’s very laid back. Attire: Jeans and flats. Location: W Read St, Baltimore, MD 21201

13.5% Wine Bar

Now this restaurant is for the slightly bougie. 13.5% is a great place for my wine connoisseurs (no, they do not have Sutter Home Pink Moscato). This is a perfect place to have drinks, but only drinks (they’re a tapas bar…so if you’re hungry, you’re S.O.L).  I would bring a person here who would appreciate a sophisticated atmosphere. Attire: Sexy Casual…Jeans with heels and a red lip. Location: 1117 W 36TH St, Baltimore, MD 21211

Corner Charcuterie Bar

Foodies, this is your spot! This is great for a first date if you want to impress someone with your food palette. Here, you’ll hear words tossed around like “confit”, “chimichurri”, and “gruyere”…just to name a few. So if you like to try unique food combinations…and you can pronounce the words, try it! They also have great happy hour specials and cute outdoor seating. Attire: Pants/Jeans, flats or chunky heels Location: 850 W 36th St, Baltimore, MD 21211

Little Havana

This is for my home girls. Want to go somewhere nice but super casual? This is your place. I like Little Havana because you can have a decently priced Mexican meal and still have a nice view of the harbor. However, risking your stomach by eating Mexican food on a date is probably not the best thing to do. Attire: Tums and a Pepto Bismol Melt. Location: 1325 Key Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21230

Wit and Wisdom

So I have a love/hate relationship with this restaurant. I love it because it’s actually a nice place to have drinks, eat and have a scenic view of the harbor. I hate this place because you can run into people you know…just a heads up. Wit and Wisdom is located right on the harbor inside of Four Seasons. So imagine saying “Hey, meet me at Four Seasons for drinks” to your potential boo. You’ll sound a little more cultured than suggesting your local Friday’s for the $5 happy hour. Attire: Pants, heels and a lip. Location: 200 International Drive, Baltimore, MD 21202

In all seriousness, these are great restaurants to try out with OR without a date (because a relationship does not define you, boo). I gave you all pretty decent new places to try; now go out and get these meals paid for get cuffed!

Happy Cuffing,

Cort
